Lately, I’ve been thinking about the little things that bring me joy—the everyday rituals, the shows I can’t get enough of, and of course, the teas I keep reaching for again and again. So this week, I’m sharing a few of my favorite things right now.
My Everyday Joys
Purple has always had my heart. There’s something about it that feels rich, calming, and just a little bit regal like wrapping myself in a cozy moment.
My evenings are pretty simple, and I love them that way. A warm cup of tea in hand, settling in to watch Wheel of Fortune. And listen this is important I absolutely must see the introductions. If I don’t know who I’m rooting for, the whole show feels off. Ha! Okay, maybe not ruined… but definitely not the same.

What I’m Watching Right Now
When it comes to a show I truly love, Downton Abbey is everything. The costumes, the sets, the writing… and of course, 1920s England in all its elegance. It’s just so beautifully done.
Recently, while I was in NYC, I had the chance to see the costumes, props, and sets up close, and it was incredible. When I fall in love with a show, I want to understand the entire creative process. Every detail fascinates me from how the scenes are styled to how the characters come to life.
For a completely different vibe, Gilmore Girls is usually playing in the background at my house. Fast-talking coffee energy meets timeless comfort. It’s quite the contrast from regal tea, but somehow it just works.
Something New I’m Loving
I’ve started lifting weights recently, and I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I do. There’s something really empowering about it feeling strong in a way that carries into everything else. It’s quickly become something I genuinely look forward to.
The Teas I Keep Reaching For
This is the question I get all the time:
“Michelle, what’s your favorite tea?”
I usually say that’s like asking me to pick a favorite child. I truly love them all in different ways. (Although I will say, our best seller is Hot Sassy Cinnamon for a reason.)
But if I had to share three teas I’ve been loving lately depending on my mood these would be it:
Fresh Citrus (Green Tea for a Calm, Clear Start)
I truly believe everyone should start their day with a green tea. Green teas are known for bringing calm and clarity, and they set the tone for the day in the best way.
If you think you don’t like green tea, it’s possible you’ve only had it burned. This is so common! Green tea should only steep for 2–3 minutes. Steeping it longer doesn’t make it better it makes it bitter.
Fearless Black Tea (A Smooth Earl Grey Twist)
This one feels like a little luxury in a cup. It’s an Earl Grey with caramel and vanilla, and it has the most beautiful, clean finish. Truly perfection in my cup.
Creamy Almond (The Perfect Tea for Connection)
Sweet, nutty, and polished. This is my go-to when I’m sitting and talking with friends. It’s one of those teas that feels warm and welcoming definitely one to keep in your cabinet for when company stops by.
