I kept buying books I never opened. I'd bring one home believing I was about to be a woman who had a quiet evening, and then the evening would come and I'd scroll instead, because a book asks you to be present and a phone doesn't ask you for anything. What finally changed it was small enough to feel silly. I started making tea first. While it steeps you're stuck there. Four minutes with nothing to do. And four minutes is enough to get into a chapter, and once you're in a chapter, you stay.

The Bookmark
Acrylic, not paper. Gold text, made to match the box, and heavy enough that it feels like something rather than falling out the first time you close the book. It reads: Steep. Sit. Turn the page. It's the part people tell me about. Not the tea, the bookmark. I did not expect that.
The Box
Deep maroon with a gold satin bow, shaped like an oversized envelope. It arrives ready to give. No wrapping, no gift bag, no tissue paper hunt at nine at night before a party. Just the ribbon. I've watched people at the market pick it up and turn it over twice before they say anything. That's when I knew the box was right.

Which chai is caffeine free?
Vanilla Bean Chai is caffeine free. Black Velvet Chai, Hot Sassy Cinnamon, and Market Spice Chai are all built on black tea and contain caffeine, roughly half of what you'd find in a cup of coffee.
What is chai, exactly?
Chai is a spice family, not a single flavor. Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove, and black pepper are the backbone. What changes from blend to blend is the base and the balance, which is why four chais can taste completely different from each other.
How do I brew these?
Full boil, 212°F, 3 to 5 minutes for the three caffeinated chais. Vanilla Bean Chai can go a little longer, 5 to 7 minutes, without turning bitter. All four take milk beautifully if that's how you like it.
Does it come gift wrapped?
It arrives as the gift. Maroon box, gold bow, ready to hand over. Nothing to wrap.
How many cups does each tea make?
Each tin yields 12 cups of tea. Four tins of tea makes 48 cups!
Can I add a gift note?

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
All sales are final, due to our products being consumables.
At Blooming With Joy, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Please email us with any questions or problems michelle@BloomingWithJoy.com
If you received an incorrect or damaged item, please call us or email us immediately so that we can correct the problem. Returns are not accepted on open tea blends, tea-based products, and food items. We do, however, accepted exchanges on sealed tins or sacks.
If you are returning a non-food item, it should have original seal and packaging to be eligible for a full refund. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping rates.

Refunds
Our products are food-based, therefore they will only qualify for a refund if the product itself is flawed in some way. You must submit a claim within 15 days of the delivery date. If there's an issue with your product, please email us asap so we can resolve the problem quickly. You'll need your order number as well as the email address used to place the order. We will use this information to look into a replacement and prevent future errors. Any unauthorized returns or exchanges of items that are open or used will not be eligible for a refund or replacement, and the item will be forfeited.
We review claims within 72 business hours. After determining that your order qualifies for a replacement or exchange, you will receive a new order confirmation that will allow you to track the progress of your replacement/exchange. Replacement orders generally take 5 - 10 business days for processing. Qualified refunds are processed immediately, but it may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your method of payment. If we request that your item is returned to us, we’ll send the exchange or qualified refund your way after receiving your return. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping rates.
Pickup Order Abandonment Policy
All pickup orders must be collected within 30 calendar days from the date of notification that your order is ready for pickup.
If an order is not picked up within 30 days, it will be considered abandoned. Abandoned orders:
- Will not be eligible for refund, exchange, or credit.
- May be donated, restocked, or disposed of at the company’s discretion.
We are not responsible for contacting customers beyond the initial pickup notification. It is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve their order within the designated timeframe.

Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
We ship orders via USPS First Class (Under 1lb). USPS Priority Mail and UPS on packages (Over 1lbs). There is not a difference between Shipping option 1 and 2, both calculate shipping based on what is in your cart. If Fewer items 1 costs less more items 2 costs less.
Choose the option that is the cheapest for you.
If there is not a total next to the option then it will calculate free shipping.
